Online Paper Review

The ASC offers personalized reviews of any paper for any class. This service is best suited to papers in draft stages. To get help with understanding assignments or brainstorming, see us in person or Zoom.

We can read for what you miss in:

• Basic paper structure - clear thesis, related supporting points, smooth paragraph transitions, thorough conclusion, & proper citations.
• Correct punctuation & grammar - Rather than pointing out every error, we'll mark 2 examples of an error and give you directions for checking the rest of your paper.

Paper reviews will be complete in 48 hours – we do not work weekends.

• Proofread your paper before submission – correct the obvious, so we can read for what you miss.
• You must still check for plagiarism – we're not connected to Turnitin.

To submit your paper :

1. Good writing is done in stages. Fill out the form below to let us know where you're at and what you want help with.
2. Then, EMAIL your paper as an attached Word document to nlc-lakeviewtutors@alamo.edu
   • We cannot mark up a pdf or access your Google, SharePoint, or OneDrive.
   • If you are working in these programs, download & save your file as a Word document before emailing.
