Out of an abundance of caution, Northwest Vista College will provide most fall term classes through remote teaching and learning.

What is remote learning?

Remote learning strives to re-create the classroom environment as the student learns through the computer. This means the student logs in to the virtual classroom environment at scheduled times to view lectures or participate in group learning activities.

Laptop Loaners and Hotspots Available for Students

760x427-LaptopCheckout.jpgCurrent Northwest Vista College students who are registered for college courses may qualify for free loaner laptops and hotspots.

To qualify for a loaner laptop, students need to meet the following criteria:

  • Be currently enrolled or have registered for summer or fall term


To qualify for a mobile hotspot, students need to:

  • Be currently enrolled or have registered for summer or fall term
  • Have NO access to high speed internet
