Bio:
Haetham is a sociology faculty member at Northwest Vista College NVC since 2017. He taught as a sociology adjunct at Alamo Colleges between 2014-2017, and as a teaching assistant and lecturer at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) between 2015-2017. He holds a doctorate degree in Culture, Literacy, and Language from UTSA, and a master's degree in sociology from UTSA as well. His research interest includes: Students' engagement, diversity and multiculturalism, factors influencing students' preparation and success, acculturation process, and the integration of newcomers into the U.S school system.
