Arthur Miller THE CRUCIBLE

Arthur Miller The Crucible
Directed by Tim Hedgepeth

Since its Broadway premiere almost 70 years ago, Arthur Miller’s harrowing The Crucible remains one of America’s most relevant and challenging plays. Set during the infamous 17th century Salem witch trials, The Crucible examines mob violence, religious hysteria, and socially accepted prejudice against the story of one man’s search for salvation. In 2019, it is a chilling allegory for our time.
