Dr. David Pilgrim - Lecture and Tour

Wednesday, February 24th from 11:00-12:45: Dr. David Pilgrim, Curator of the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia in Big Rapids Michigan, will join us for a mini-lecture, a personal guided, virtual walk-through tour of the Museum, and a Q & A. Dr. Pilgrim has been collecting racist memorabilia since he was 12 years old, and the site of this Museum sits on the campus of Ferris State University of Big Rapids, Michigan.
Dr. Pilgrim has served as a consultant for Henry Louis Gates, Jr. for “Many Rivers to Cross|Racist Images in Jim Crow Era,” on PBS, and has written for the Smithsonian, has several books published, and appeared on C-Span, CNN, and given a Ted Talk, amongst others.
