This trip will provide an introduction to
rock climbing for anyone who wants to experience a safe adventure in the
vertical realm. In this class, we emphasize
safety skills, basic climbing technique, teamwork, trust, communication, and
having a great time in a beautiful setting.

Beginner to advanced
Physical requirements: There will
be a short hike to the climbing area. Must have the physical ability to hike
over uneven and hilly terrain for one mile each way.
Departing from campus at 6am and returning back to campus around 7pm
Suggestions on what to bring:
protection, sunglasses, hat for hiking, at least 2 liters of water, packed
lunch and snacks.
What to wear:
not too baggy or too tight. Dress in layers, it may be cool in the morning and
warm up as the day continues.

You must be a current NVC student
to participate. Frist, RSVP in the event through OrgSync in the Student Life portal. Then make your payment within 48 hrs of your RSVP in the
Student Life Office in HH-109. Office hours are M-F 8am-5pm. Only cash, money order, or check made out to Northwest Vista College accepted. NO CHANGE AVAILABLE.
