Student Advocacy Drop-In Counseling
Welcome to Drop-In Counseling!
NVC Student Advocacy is offering Drop-In Counseling on Tuesdays. This means students can “walk-in” without an appointment every Tuesday from 8:00am to 4:00pm as long as a counselor is available.
Click on the Zoom Link below to enter our Virtual Lobby. One of our Team Members will assist you and get you connected.
Please note, this Zoom link is monitored ONLY during our normal operating hours. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact the 24-7 hotline at 210-223-7233 or dial 911.
We are Here for You!
Northwest Vista College recognizes that students struggling economically or with mental health issues may find college overwhelming at times. We know that stress can impact academic performance. Any student experiencing challenges is encouraged to reach out to the NVC Student Advocacy and Resource Center. The Advocacy Center provides emergency student aid, help with essential needs, and individual and group mental health counseling at no cost to students.
24-hour emergency help is also available through the National Suicide Prevention Hotline (800-273-8255) or at www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org.
