Campus Visit Opportunities

  • For Individuals and Families

    Offered: Wednesdays at 9 a.m. and Fridays at 2 p.m.

    Tours are one hour in length and are followed by an Admissions Information Session that will cover the enrollment process, degree offerings, and financial aid opportunities.

    Following the session, students will have the opportunity to complete their enrollment steps in our computer lab. 

    Guided campus tours will begin on Jan. 30, but the campus will be open during normal business hours for self-guided tours.

  • For Schools and Groups of 10+ students

    Offered: By Appointment Only

    Group tours are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis for large groups, schools, and organizations and should be requested as soon as possible to secure availability. Once you have requested a tour, a staff member will contact you to arrange your tour and provide confirmation details.  

    Please do not plan for a tour if you have not received confirmation.

    The maximum capacity for group tours is 60 students, with one chaperone per ten students.  However, larger groups can be accommodated with advance notice as staffing allows.  Tours are subject to change based on availability staff.

    Groups tours are approximately one hour in length and are subject to staff availability and weather conditions.

  • For Prospective Students Interested in Northwest Vista College

    Offered: First Saturday of Every Month
    Spring 2019 Dates: Feb 2, March 2, April 6, May 4

    Prospective NVC students are invited to attend Wildcat Preview Day to learn more about our campus, including degree and program offerings, the admissions and enrollment process, and financial aid opportunities.

    Following a 1 hour information session, students will have the opportunity to choose which events they'd like to participate in:

    • Check your admissions status or complete your enrollment steps
    • Receive assistance with submitting the FAFSA
    • Tour the campus

  • For Prospective Students Interested in Northwest Vista College

    Offered: During business hours

    The Vista Central: Welcome and Admissions Center provides walk-in services so that students may:

    • Use a computer to apply to NVC or complete their enrollment steps
    • Meet with an enrollment advisor to ask questions about enrollment, programs, tuition, and financial aid
    • Meet with a Certified Academic Advisor for degree planning (Transfer Students only - must complete all enrollment steps first)

    The computer lab will close 30 minutes prior to the end of the day. Advising services will close when they have reached capacity for the day. To check advising availability, call Vista Central at 210-486-4125.

    Records & Residency - Submit official transcripts, update residency status, submit FERPA forms, or make other modifications to your student record.

    Admissions & Welcome - Meet with an enrollment advisor, apply to NVC, receive assistance with the enrollment steps, or use our computer lab.

Parking is available in Lot 10 in front of the Cypress Campus Center (CCC) building. Visitors do not need a parking permit or decal.
