The Digital Media program is designed for individuals wanting to obtain, entry level positions or further existing skills. Students entering the program must have the following skills:

Digital Media is a blend of: Art, Music, Design, Video and Scripting all wrapped up in one while using technical and communication skills to deliver the content in a digital format.
This program prepares students for a creative career in areas such as:
- Graphic Design
- Web Design
- Instructional Design
- Interactive Media
- Mobile Application Design
- Social Media Design
- Digital Media Video Editing
The Associate of Applied Science degree is recommended for students who wish to eventually pursue a bachelor’s degree or a management position in the industry. The academic courses included in the AAS degree will transfer to four-year institutions and provide a broad training for today’s workforce.
Occupational profiles indicate 25.70% growth for Web Developers by the year 2022 in the Alamo Region. Estimated average hourly wage is *$29.16 in the Alamo Region. (Source: SOCRATES-Occupational Profiles-Alamo Region) *Note: Variations should be expected.
