What is the energy technology program?

The Energy Technology program offers students the option to enroll in the fast track certification program and/or earn an Associate of Applied Science. The program is designed to accommodate the need for multi-skilled workers with foundations in electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics. Graduates of the program will acquire the necessary skills to begin a career in the Oil and Gas industry, in particular the Eagle Ford Shale Region.

The advisory committee includes members closely tied to the Eagle Ford Shale, including Halliburton, Black Brush Energy, Marathon, Weatherford, NuStar Energy and Quatro Strategic Solutions.
