Middle School (Incoming 6th-8th Grade)

As a precautionary measure due to the current public health situation, Palo Alto College is providing free virtual programming in lieu of in-person camps. This year’s Summer Programs will be held either live via video conferencing or can be streamed from your home device at your student's leisure.

Designed to promote leadership and character development for students entering 6th-8th grade (ages 11-14) through STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) activities. Each week, participants will enjoy themed activities and hands-on projects.

Registration is required for all middle school camps. Any materials needed for the activities will be provided free-of-charge to registrants through contactless curbside pickup at Palo Alto College. Once your child is registered for a camp, you will receive information via email about pickup.

Theatre Production Camp

An interactive, age-appropriate theatre experience right from a computer, tablet, or smartphone through the free ZOOM application.

Students will: Work with directors and actors to stage their piece and bring it to life.  Work as designers to rapidly create set elements, costume accessories, and props that fit the story and characters they create. And have fun scrambling to get it all done on time!

During each session, students will receive at-home activity videos to continue their learning during the week. Families and friends will be invited to tune in to the last day of camp as participants perform remotely on Zoom.
