Celebrating the class of 2020
May 1, 2020
After years of hard work and dedication, Palo Alto College's class of 2020 will be completing their associate degrees and certificates in May! Completing a degree or certificate is a huge accomplishment, and Palo Alto College will be celebrating graduates throughout the month of May, including ways for graduates to participate remotely.
Palo Alto College debuted a virtual recognition for 2020 graduates on Thursday, May 14 at 7 p.m. The video will premiered on Palo Alto College Facebook and YouTube channels. Graduates are encouraged to gather everyone in their household, share the links with loved ones elsewhere, and tune in to celebrate the class of 2020 together.
Hats off to the grads
Try on one of Palo Alto College’s signature teal graduation caps using our new Instagram filter. Click here on your smart phone to try it out! Send us your photo by tagging Palo Alto College in your post or uploading it below.
All graduates were invited to submit videos to say, "Thank you!" to faculty or staff members who have helped them reach this milestone. Videos were included in the Virtual Recognition of Graduates.
Share your story
We want to hear what this achievement means to you! Submit a photo of yourself along with a short quote for your chance to be featured as part of our grad #PeopleOfPAC series on Palo Alto College social media.
Check your mail
The Class of 2020 will receive a special alumni gift in the mail to celebrate their achievements, and they can expect to receive their diploma 6-8 weeks after finals week concludes. Deliveries may take longer due to postal service delays. Both items will be mailed to the address provided on your graduation application. If you need to update your mailing address, please email email@example.com before June 15.
Cross the stage
Graduation is a huge academic accomplishment, which is traditionally celebrated by crossing a stage. Though we cannot gather together this spring, Palo Alto College will host a traditional commencement ceremony during the Fall 2020 semester when we can gather together and celebrate safely. Details will be announced in the coming months.
Any questions related to graduation or the traditional commencement ceremony can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
