Turfgrass and Golf Course Management

The Turfgrass Industry has a $6 billion economic impact in the state of Texas alone. There are 3.5 million acres of turfgrass managed in the state of Texas, including over 50 golf courses in the Greater San Antonio area. If you like making decisions concerning the environment, and you have a passion for being outside working with nature, people, and technological equipment, you may consider becoming part of the turf industry.
