2021 Summer Camps

In light of the current public health and safety pandemic, the Alamo Colleges District has directed all summer camp programs to work virtually in the summer of 2021.  Astronauts in Training, Cosmic Kids and the Explorers Academy are all being evaluated for their levels of engagement in the virtual world.  Our team of educators, mission specialists and astronomers are meeting to craft these new designs and it is our plan to post their availability with the new opportunities they provide in April 2021.

Scobee Education Center 2021 Summer Camps

Give your children an out of this world experience this summer at San Antonio College's Scobee Education Center! There are four available summer camps ranging from 1st to 8th grade beginning in June. Each camp is grade level specific and includes age-appropriate activities.

Children will get the chance to engage in hands-on STEM activities, take a journey to the International Space Station, learn about life as astronauts in space, investigate NASA’s missions, problem solve with LEGO Robotics, and launch their imaginations beyond our world in the Scobee Planetarium!
