What is the Marketing Management program?

This program introduces you to fundamental marketing practices and concepts, along with basic business principles and an overview of marketing, sales and public relations techniques.

What will I learn?

You’ll learn the basics of marketing, the process of identifying, attracting and retaining customers for a business or organization. You’ll study the consumer decision-making process and the marketing mix concepts of product, price, place and promotion. You’ll learn principles of management, business and communication to build a foundation for a career in marketing. This program develops your strategic thinking, creativity and analytical skills.

What can I do with this course of study?

This degree prepares students to transfer to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, creating a pathway to careers in marketing, advertising, or public relations. Because all companies must market their products and services, you’ll be prepared for a variety of opportunities and subspecialties in the field. An associate degree or Level 1 Certificate in Marketing Management can help you pursue entry-level jobs in marketing, sales, business or retail fields.

What makes this program special?

This program is available face-to-face or fully online to fit your schedule. The program also offers a Level 1 Certificate, which trains you for entry level marketing positions. You’ll also gain skills that go beyond marketing to help you succeed in virtually any career, including communication, critical thinking and teamwork.
