International Education Day at San Antonio College

Thursday, Nov. 15
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The San Antonio College International Education Day Celebration is in recognition and celebration of International Education Week (IEW). IEW is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

The day’s activities/events include:

Parade of Nations -10 a.m. from the Oppenheimer Academic Center to the Loftin Student Center.
International Students and faculty members from abroad panel discussion - 10:30 LSC Fiesta Room
International student presentations/displays - LSC Fiesta Room
International word search activity w/door prizes (while supplies last)
Food trucks - Lady Picoza, King Mediterranean and The House of Churros – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SAC mall (cash and credit accepted).

Everyone is invited to wear traditional clothing that represents another culture.
