The Raza Heritage Month Committee invites you to a variety of performances, presentations, and more.
There will also be a Raza Heritage Month essay contest. The submission deadline will be Thursday, Oct. 24.

Tuesday, Sept. 10
Yanawana Herbolarios: The People’s Clinic
Noon to 4 p.m.
William R. Sinkin Eco Centro (1802 N Main Ave.)
The People's Clinic, hosted by Yanawana Herbolarios, is a free walk-in clinic featuring a botanical pharmacy and holistic integrative healthcare. A pop-up pantry with diapers, hygiene kits, and clothing for those in need will also be available.

Raza Heritage Month Opening Ceremony
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Come hear community leader, Rey Saldaña, current VIA Metropolitan Transit board chair and former city councilman, share the importance of a healthy vision and physically active lifestyle.

Curacion de la Llorona y El Cucuy (The Cure of la Llorona and el Cucuy)”

Be ready to have long-held myths shattered! Learn new interpretations of La Llorona y El Cucuy from researcher Gary Perez based upon the 4,000-year-old indigenous rock art found in caves north of Comstock, Texas.
