First Look - James Webb Telescope Images - Unfold the Universe

Join us as we share a first look at the JWST images! We will be joined by guest speaker Dr. Stephanie Jarmak. Dr. Stephanie Jarmak is a postdoctoral researcher at Southwest Research Institute where she studies Saturn’s rings, asteroids, and the dusty surfaces of planetary bodies. She is the principal investigator of a James Webb Space Telescope Cycle 1 observing program that will search for water features on the metallic asteroid Psyche in support of the upcoming Psyche mission and our understanding of hydration in the Solar System. We will have one program at 8:00 p.m. in lieu of our normal Sky Tonight Presentation. The second program will be at 9:30 p.m.
