SAC Celebrates Women's History Month 2022

San Antonio College will celebrate Women’s History Month with the theme “Ain’t I a Woman?” throughout the month of March. The Women’s History Month Committee will have events both in person and online.

Exhibit & Film The Truth
Watch The Truth, a film about Sojourner Truth, and write a short reflection or essay to win prizes or a scholarship. Essays due Wednesday, March 23.

Feminist Flash Fiction & Free Verse Contest
This year’s theme highlights Sojourner Truth’s famous 1851 speech at the Women’s Rights Convention and the intersectionality of feminist identity. As the assault against reproductive freedom intensifies in Texas and the United States, it is imperative to support the right of women to full reproductive choice and bodily autonomy.
