CELL@SAC Program Receives Reaccreditation for 10 Years

The Center for English Language Learning at San Antonio College (known as CELL@SAC) has earned reaccreditation by The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA). The Reaccreditation will be for 10 years,

Acc CELL@SAC reaccreditation 2.jpg ording to Dr. Tom Cox, chair of Languages@SAC, the association commended the work of CELL@SAC in its report and noted no areas needed additional reporting or improvements. Faculty members Dr. Sharla Jones and Professor Sal Gutierrez led the reaccreditation effort which included collaborating on a self-study report and participating in a virtual site visit.

CELL @ SAC provides an opportunity for international students, immigrants, professionals, and other English Language Learners to study in a dynamic learning community and acquire or improve essential English skills. CELL @ SAC offers English classes to help students learn to read, write, speak, and understand American English for social, professional, and academic purposes.
