Become a Ranger
Follow the step-by-step enrollment process listed below or download the SAC Enrollment Checklist (PDF) to get started.
Go to ApplyTexas.org to apply for admission. Allow 3-5 business days for processing.
Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.gov.
Please allow a minimum of four months to complete the financial aid process.
SAC's federal school code is 009163.
Transcripts and official documents should be submitted to the SAC Office of Admissions.
The Office of Admissions is located in the Fletcher Administration Center (FAC), Room 216. If submitting in person, documents should remain sealed.
Official documents can also be mailed directly to: San Antonio College, ATTN: Office of Admissions, 1819 N. Main Ave., San Antonio, Texas 78212.
Visit www.alamoaces.alamo.edu to access your ACES student account.
Click "Get My ACES Username" and follow the instructions for the default password to login for the first time.

Click the "Start Here" tab, then "Navigate" to access your personalized enrollment checklist.
Texas state law requires that all entering students, under the age of 22, show evidence of receiving a bacterial meningitis vaccination during the five-year period prior to enrollment; the law allows for a few exemptions. Submit documents through your ACES Navigate tab.
Click on your ACES Navigate tab to complete the Go FAAR and Test Prep Modules (if applicable).
For technical assistance with the modules, call the Office of Technology Services Help Desk at (210) 486-0777, press option 7.
The Assessment and Testing Center, located in the Fletcher Administration Center (FAC), Room 112, determines if transcripts contain appropriate credits to meet the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirement.
A list of TSI exemptions are available on the SAC Assessment and Testing Center website.
Immediately after testing, students receive post-assessment advising, located in the Fletcher Administration Center (FAC), Room 105.
Some students may be required to take a refresher course before proceeding with the enrollment process.
