SAC Speech Team Competes in Hill Country Swing Tournament

San Antonio College’s speech team took part in the Hill Country Swing Tournament sponsored by Texas State University, San Marcos and the University of Texas, Austin.
Because the two-day event was held virtually, several schools which normally do not participate were welcomed making the regional tournament into a national one.
More than 100 competitors from 20 colleges and universities participated including:
- Arizona State University
- University of Alabama
- Illinois State University
- Rice University
- Texas A&M University
SAC student Aaron Delgado won sixth place in Persuasive Speaking and sixth place in Impromptu Speaking on Day Two of the Tournament.
The speech team will next travel virtually to the University of Louisiana, Lafayette for the Rage on the Bayou Invitational Tournament.
