SPC Students, Faculty in Alamo Confidence Video
A video that promotes higher education and includes St. Philip’s College students and faculty at work together has been released. The video by Shootz Production Group and Anderson Marketing Group expresses the Alamo Colleges District’s Alamo Confidence initiative that illustrates the district’s guided pathways model of general courses of studies to maximize job qualifications or transferable credits to a four-year university. Aviation, welding, nursing, manufacturing and electronics students and faculty who were filmed and photographed in November are part of the finished product released in December. The text that accompanies their images is “Some people have known what they wanted to be from the very beginning. Others need help making a choice. We're the Alamo Colleges District. Tell us your passion. We’ll help you find the path because we work with local business leaders to create cutting edge programs with programs for careers in high demand industries that are waiting for the skills you'll learn. And the leadership you'll develop for the future you want. The Alamo Colleges District provides the path. Alamo Confidence gets you there.” View the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAFTk2yP7RQ.
