Cybersecurity Education Conference at SPC

St. Philip's College's Cybersecurity Education Conference takes place March 8 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Bowden Alumni Center of the college's G. J. Sutton Learning Center building at 1801 Martin Luther King Drive in the city's Denver Heights neighborhood (building marked as "10" on the interactive map

The event is a forum to increase awareness of resources in the nation's second-largest cybersecurity cluster after Washington, D.C. Guests will include representatives from industry, government and academia. Information sessions will be provided for students of all ages, with access to include keynote speakers and networking information the region's cybersecurity industry. While cyberbullying will be among the topics addressed by leading proponents for legislation concerning cyberbullying, Webhead has announced on Facebook and Twitter this week that CEO Janie M. Gonzalez will be among the presenters.
