Miss Cipher
Miss Cipher is a new summer enrichment program focused on encouraging young females to explore the Computer Science field through interactive exploratory modules covering basic coding and robotics. The Center of Excellence for Math is collaborating with the Business Information Solutions department and faculty to present this exciting summer program.
What you will learn?
You will focus on visually-based and object-oriented learning.
- Create 3-D games,
- Use storytelling as you code,
- Build games,
- and build small robots
What tools will you use?
Participants will get an introduction to computer programming. The tools we will have available are listed below.
- Scratch Visual Language
- 3D Alice Computer Software
- Ozoblockly (color and visual programming)
- Raspberry Pi
