FREE and Open to the Public!
Prepare for an unforgettable celestial event on April 8, 2024! As the total solar eclipse approaches, make sure you're equipped with the right gear to fully enjoy the spectacle.

Eye Protection
Get your hands on the special glasses provided by the Scobee Center on the day of the event for a safe and enhanced viewing experience. Regular sunglasses won't work! 

Time of event: 11:00am-3:00pm
(Eclipse 12:15pm - 2:55pm)

Eclipse Map & Parking Information

Please enter the campus at the North Ellison Drive and Wiseman Road entrances.

• Parking for the public will be made available in Lots 2, 3, 4, 5. 8, 9, and 10.
• Parking for school buses will be available in Lot 7.
• Volunteers will park on the 1st level of Prickly Pear Garage
• Science activities will be available on the northeast side of CESC.
• There will be telescope viewing areas in the round about between CESC and JH (2) and in front of CESC near Lot 6.
• Portable restrooms will be available near the HH building.

What to Know Before You GO:

• Only service animals will be allowed
  
  
• Solar Eclipse glasses are free
  
  
• Bring your own lawn chair (limited seating)
  
  
• No Overnight parking - cars will be relocated or towed!
  
  
• Food Trucks to include:
  Mr. G Sushi
  Izzy’z Pizza
  Los Compadres Tacos
  Maldonado’s Grill
  Just Dogs
  
  
• Official Eclipse shirts available for $10 donation. All donations will support NVC Fine & Performing Arts Students Support Program Fund (Cash only)
