Dear H-E-B, Thank you so much for your generosity and for giving me the opportunity to be an H-E-B Scholar. Receiving this scholarship means a great deal to me and my family, and I am truly grateful that H-E-B continues to invest in students and their education.
Agriculture has been an important part of my life for many years. My interest began through FFA, where I raised livestock, including steers, pigs, and goats, and competed in leadership development events. Those experiences taught me responsibility, leadership, hard work, and the importance of serving others. They also encouraged me to continue my education and build a future in the agriculture industry. I am currently studying Agricultural Business at Palo Alto College.
Outside of the classroom, I serve as President of the Palo Alto College Agriculture Program, where I help organize events, recruit students, work with fellow officers and ambassadors, and promote opportunities in agriculture. I also stay involved in the livestock and rodeo industry and enjoy giving back to my community whenever I have the opportunity. Balancing college, leadership responsibilities, work, and family obligations has not always been easy, but these experiences have helped me become more determined and focused on my future. After completing my time at Alamo Colleges, I plan to continue my education and earn my bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business. My long-term goal is to build a career where I can become a leader in agriculture, support farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses, and make a positive impact on the future of the industry.
Receiving the H-E-B Scholarship will help reduce the financial burden of my education and allow me to focus more of my time and energy on my academics, leadership responsibilities, and professional development. More importantly, this scholarship motivates me to continue working toward my goals and someday give back to others in the same way H-E-B has invested in students like me. Thank you again, H-E-B, for believing in students and supporting our educational and career goals. I am proud and grateful to be an H-E-B Scholar, and I hope to make the most of this opportunity.
