Am I Eligible?AlamoPROMISE is open to students graduating from public, private, charter, and home school high school programs in Bexar County. Student must:

How It WorksTuition and required fees are fully covered by a combination financial aid grants and/or scholarships for the completion of an associate degree or up to three consecutive years. |
How to Become an AlamoPromise Scholar
Step 1: Submit an ApplicationComplete your admission application on ApplyTexas and submit your application online to one of the five Alamo Colleges. |
Step 2: Apply for Financial AidFill out your financial aid application through FAFSA or TASFA, and complete any requirements needed to issue your financial aid award. |
Step 3: Enroll in ClassesComplete your enrollment steps, attend New Student Orientation, and register for classes in the Fall after you graduate high school. |
Priority Date: Feb. 28, 2026.Students are encouraged to submit their admission and financial aid applications before Feb. 28 in order to be guaranteed review for AlamoPROMISE eligibility. Applications received after that date are considered as space is available.
