NLC Student Design Selected for 2026 Official FIESTA Poster

Northeast Lakeview College is excited to announce that NLC student, Eva Davidson, was recognized by the FIESTA Commission at a special reception on January 29 as the 2026 official FIESTA Poster Artist.  The FIESTA San Antonio Commission selected Eva’s design for the 2026 official FIESTA poster.  As the winning artist, Eva receives $5,000 from the Fiesta Commission. At the 5-1 to event, the Official Poster Selection Event held in late September 2025, each student artist presented his / her poster design and described the theme and inspiration behind the design. Members from the FIESTA Commission had the opportunity to vote to select the official 2026 FIESTA poster design.

At the official unveiling event on January 29, Eva stated in her recognition speech that her piece celebrates “togetherness, unity, and joy.” She also stated that she wanted her piece to represent the many walks of life and how everyone’s culture come together to make San Antonio the city that it is.
