What is the Linux Installation and Configuration program?

Linux® is an open source operating system (OS). An operating system is the software that directly manages a system’s hardware and resources, like CPU, memory, and storage. CompTIA Linux+ validates the skills of IT professionals with hands-on experience configuring, monitoring, and supporting servers running the Linux operating system. Topics include: security, kernel modules, storage & visualization, device management at an enterprise level, git & automation, networking & firewalls, server side & command line, server (vs. client-based) coverage, troubleshooting and SELinux.

Must have access to computer/tablet and internet; Headphones or speakers connected to your computer to listen to video tutorials

Authority to install software on your computer

A web browser with Adobe Flash Player installed (IE8+ or Firefox; Chrome must have user-enabled Flash)

A reliable Internet connection of at least 1 Mbps to view video tutorials
