We understand that online, on-demand learning is not for everyone but we have a learning option made for you. All five of our Alamo Colleges can serve recently enrolled Codeup learners with a variety of programs and wrap-around support including instructor-led programs (face-to-face and online) which you can find listed below. - Cloud Computing, A.A.S.
- Cloud Support Specialist Level I Certificate
Network Architecture and Cloud Computing AAS
This program prepares students to work with basic physical and information security requirements in managing and maintaining cloud computing platforms and applications.
In addition, this program includes understanding and managing various cloud computing platforms such as OpenStack and Amazon's AWS.
Computer Information Systems (CIS) Program
SAC offers numerous accelerated pathways in web development, networking, and cybersecurity. Our courses are directly aligned with industry standards and credentials, and we offer unique learning opportunities and support services for our students. Current relevant accelerated pathways for CodeUp students include:
- Occupational Skill Award (OSA) in Web Development (12 credit hours), can be completed completely online or in-person in as few as 2 semesters.
- OSA in CompTIA Security+ Prep (10 credit hours) - can be completed completely online or in-person in as few as 2 semesters.
SPC is designated by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Two-Year Education.
The Department of Business Information Solutions offers numerous programs geared toward preparing students for immediate employment as well as Associate of Arts or Science transfer programs.
Associate of Applied Science programs are geared toward immediate employment or transfer toward a Bachelor of Applied Science. There are also a variety of one-year Certificates and Occupational Skills Awards for students requiring skills for immediate entry into the workplace.
Cloud Administrator
The CompTIA Cloud+ Certification Preparation Occupational Skills Award provides the student with the knowledge and skills to prepare for CompTIA Cloud+ certification which is industry recognized and leads to entry level positions in the high wage, high demand field of computer technology.

These offerings provide you a chance to earn a micro-credential showcasing your mastery of knowledge, skills, and abilities to hiring employers in San Antonio. Completion of a course or training pathway does not guarantee employment. Some possible careers may require you to continue to a degree program offered by one of our five Alamo Colleges. Courses are non-credit and do not automatically transfer to one of the five Alamo Colleges.
