AlamoPROMISE

The Save Your Seat pledge period is now closed for the graduating senior class of 2021 from participating Promise high schools. Students who ‘saved their seat’ to lock in the promise of tuition-free college starting in Fall 2021 are still eligible for AlamoPROMISE and can submit admissions and financial aid applications to be part of the next class of AlamoPROMISE Scholars

Future AlamoPROMISE Scholars:

Now that you’ve ‘saved your seat’, complete your admissions and financial aid applications today to secure a bright future with no-cost tuition!

What is AlamoPROMISE?

AlamoPROMISE makes college more accessible to graduating seniors by providing the support necessary to earn a certificate or associate’s degree at one of the five Alamo Colleges: Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, San Antonio College, and St. Philip’s College.

It ensures that tuition and fees at the Alamo Colleges are covered for students who graduate from participating high schools.

Through AlamoPROMISE, scholars who meet the eligibility criteria will receive a "last-dollar" scholarship for up to three years or the completion of an associate's degree or certificate, whichever comes first. The "last-dollar" scholarship funds the cost of tuition and required fees that your financial aid award does not cover. Your household income does not disqualify you and there is no minimum academic requirement to be considered for admission.

Because we understand plans sometimes change, you are not locked into a commitment when you pledge to Save Your Seat.

Please note that changes in your student records, such as graduation from a non-Promise high school or ineligible graduation year, may impact program eligibility. The AlamoPROMISE Program Office will notify you via email if there are any updates to your program eligibility status.
