Completion and Recognition

Scholarship Recipients

Since 2005, the San Antonio Masters Leadership Program (MLP) has provided financial contributions in the form of scholarships to SLI student leaders. MLP Scholarship recipients are celebrated in the annual MLP Association Luncheon.

Welcome to the Student Leadership Institute

The Alamo Colleges Student Leadership Institute (SLI), a district-wide student success leadership development opportunity for prospective and current students of the Alamo Colleges, was established in the fall of 2001 to empower today’s students to become tomorrow’s leaders.  SLI has provided leadership education and training for more than 1,200 college students who are active leaders on campus, in their workplace, and in their communities. Today, SLI provides two avenues that facilitate personal and professional leadership development: The Leadership Program (for the college student) and The Young Leaders Conference (for the high school student).

"Leadership is a process. It is a journey, not a single destination, and the conclusion of any successful (even extraordinary) endeavor is simply the beginning point for the next adventure." -- Kouzes and Posner, 2008
