Comments Policy for Alamo Colleges District Social Media

We welcome you and your comments to the Alamo Colleges District Social Media page.

The purpose of our social media presence is to keep our students, prospective students, partners and communities up to date with all of the most recent Alamo Colleges District news, events and information.

We encourage you to engage with us by submitting questions, comments and concerns and remember to keep your comments family friendly.

The Alamo Colleges District may remove posts or comments that violate the guidelines listed below:

  • No content that promotes, fosters or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability, or sexual orientation.
  • No hate speech or comments intended to defame anyone or any organization.
  • Promotion of endorsement of services and products.  This includes any financial, commercial, political or non-governmental agency.  
  • No copyrighted or trademarked images or graphics. 
  • No fraudulent, deceptive or misleading information.
  • No comments or photos that suggest or encourage illegal activity.
  • No comments that violate any local, state, or federal laws and/or is otherwise unlawful/
  • No documents of any kind should be posted.
  • No campaign materials promoting or opposing an individual in an election for political office.
  • No comments or material not topically related to post being commented upon
  • Repetitive comments copied and pasted by multiple users or on multiple posts, or spam.
  • This comment policy is subject to amendment or modification at any time
