For 25 years, Gunn Automotive Group and the Gunn Family Foundation have remained dedicated partners of St. Philip’s College, investing in the success of students pursuing careers in the automotive industry.

This year, the organization continued that commitment by donating more than $23,000 in professional automotive toolkits for five St. Philip’s College students. With this latest contribution, Gunn Automotive and the Gunn Family Foundation have now donated a total of $259,000 to support SPC students over the past two and a half decades.

Representing Gunn Automotive at the presentation ceremony was Mr. Rob Sabom, Senior Vice President, who joined college leadership, faculty, and students in recognizing the importance of workforce preparation and industry partnerships.

The donated toolkits will provide students with the professional-grade equipment needed to begin their careers with confidence and enter the workforce prepared for success.

The following students were selected to receive the scholarships and toolkits:

  • Kavin Acevedo
  • Leo Espinoza
  • Jonathan Lopez
  • James J. San Miguel
  • Christian White

St. Philip’s College extends its sincere appreciation to Gunn Automotive and the Gunn Family Foundation for their continued generosity and unwavering support of student achievement. Their longstanding partnership continues to create opportunities and transform lives for future automotive professionals.
