When I started at PAC, I was a young mom with a child, and I felt like I couldn't get ahead. I signed up for classes and dropped them back and forth, struggling to attend in-person sessions. I worked as an employee at Alamo College for many years, and when the online program became popular during COVID, I decided to restart my classes. I earned my associate's degree at the age of 59, graduating at the same time as my granddaughter. It was a memorable experience, and I couldn't have done it without the support of the amazing faculty at PAC. My dream was always to complete my associate's degree to show my grandchildren that you can finish what you start, no matter your age. Life can make it challenging, but never give up. I am a first-generation graduate.
