St. Philip's College, founded in 1898, is a comprehensive public community college whose mission is to empower our diverse student population through educational achievement and career readiness. As a Historically Black College and Hispanic Serving Institution, St. Philip's College is a vital facet of the community, responding to the needs of a population rich in ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic diversity.

    BHM Art Exhibit Features Works by Anthony Charles Edwards

    His work is part of the Harriet and Harmon Kelley Collection of African American Art. In 1995, one of Edwards’ artwork, Our Land, Our Home was included in an exhibition at the Smithsonian.

    THCA Program Receives $20k Donation During 42nd Annual Cowboy Breakfast

    The Cowboy Breakfast Foundation presented SPC with a donation of $20,000 that will be used to award scholarships to students. Last year’s donation provided scholarships to 10 students for the 2019-2020 academic year.

  • AlamoPROMISE: Save Your Seat (Deadline Approaching Feb. 14)

    Friday, February 14

    AlamoPROMISE makes college more accessible to graduating seniors by providing the support necessary to earn a certificate or associate's degree. Join us every Saturday in January, 9-1pm. Then, the 1st Saturday of the Month, 9-1pm.
