    SPC Honors a Saint with Legacy Day dedication on Aug. 18

    Saint Artemisia Bowden, the college’s founding president, was named a saint by the Episcopal Church in 2015. Her feast day is celebrated every Aug. 18 nationwide. This year, she will be honored with the naming of a building.
