The National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Excellence Awards recognizes individuals who perform extraordinary work on their college campuses. Since 1991, more than 30,000 recipients have been honored. Each year, NISOD member colleges submit individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and contribution to their students and colleagues. All individuals whose names are submitted are recognized as NISOD Excellence Award recipients. Each recipient is awarded a unique silver medallion engraved with The University of Texas and NISOD insignias.
