First Day Counts

First Day Counts Attendance Policy

Start the semester right! Attend each first class meeting. Miss the first day without contacting your instructor beforehand, and you’ll be dropped. Don’t rely on being dropped for nonattendance as a way to withdraw. If you can’t attend or complete a course, immediately take steps to withdraw.

Alamo Cares

AlamoCARES fosters a safe and supportive learning space

Alamo Colleges has initiated the AlamoCARES program to promote awareness of issues such as dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking that impact students’ lives.

Adivising Pin

Alamo College's students who are close to or have completed 45 hours of college credit are now required to enter an Advising Personal Identification Number (PIN) in order to register for Fall 2016. To obtain the Advising PIN, students must participate in an advising session with their Certified Advisor. The advising session will help the student review their individual success plan in preparation for graduation and give the student an opportunity to ask questions about transfer institutions, graduation planning, job readiness and other concerns.
