Legacy Day

The former Health and Fitness Center, originally constructed in 1942 and remodeled in 1999, was demolished to make way for a new Cafeteria & Veterans Hall, currently under construction. The project is possible through the U.S. Department of Education, Title III, Parts B & F funding.

8–8:45 a.m.

The Watson Fine Arts Center H-E-B Black Box Theatre is a 20,000-square-foot addition that includes a 200-seat black box theater, dressing rooms, and dedicated set and costume storage areas. The project was funded through U.S. Department of Education Title III, Parts B and F grants, with additional support from a $1 million donation from H-E-B Grocery Company, LP, that helped bring the vision to life.

8:45–9:15 a.m.

The Learning and Leadership Development Center, completed in December 2025, serves as the home of the college’s engineering program and features classrooms, laboratories, and dedicated spaces for students and faculty.

9:15–10 a.m.
