Palo Alto College Is The Campus For Me

I have been working here at Palo Alto College for 20 years this year. It has been the most rewarding and fulfilling experience of my life.

From the moment I walked into the front doors of the Palomino Center in 2005, I immediately knew that this was going to be the campus for me. I am a Palo Alto College alumni and graduated in December of 2008 with three associate degrees. In addition to this, in the summer of 2006, I also became a student worker and slowly moved up in positions each year from there.

Palo Alto College is my home, and I have a large number of colleagues who I also consider to now be my family. There are so many of them that have watched me grow, earn my education, excel in my professional development, become a mother, a wife, and ultimately reach my dream/goal of becoming an adviser. They are my mentors, have contributed to my continued success, and I would not have been able to do any of this without them.

I have a great passion for helping/serving students and have that Care and Corazón that is desirable to ensure that they follow a pathway that will lead them to future success and triumph. My students have an understanding that I will be here for them from entry to completion.

I want to ensure to make a lasting impact on their academics, future careers, and in life; just like so many have done for me!
