Palo Alto College has been a cornerstone in my life since I first started attending in 2010. I went to college with my mom, who had returned after 15 years away, and sharing that experience with her created a special bond and a shared goal for our future.
My time at PAC was transformative. I was elected SGA president and was fortunate to work as a work-study student for the Dean (Dr. Garza), which gave me valuable leadership experience and a deeper connection to the college community.
Attending PAC not only provided me with the opportunity for higher education but also completely changed my career trajectory. It opened the door to a lifelong career in higher education, and I have been working here since 2011. This college has become a part of my identity; it has shaped who I am and has been present in every phase of my life.
Over the years, I’ve seen several family members attend PAC after me, and now my children have grown up here, taking their first steps and creating their own memories on campus. My husband is also now attending, continuing the legacy of learning and growth within my family.
PAC has truly changed my life and given me opportunities I never imagined possible. I never thought that starting school here and graduating would lead me to the role I hold today, and I’m now about to graduate with my doctoral degree, something I never even thought achievable before.
PAC has been more than just an educational institution; it’s been a source of hope, inspiration, and endless possibilities that continue to shape my journey every day.
