My journey began at Palo Alto College (PAC) through their GED program. This program not only helped me earn my GED but also offered a scholarship to those who achieved this milestone. Attending the GED graduation ceremony was a turning point—it inspired me to pursue an associate degree. At PAC, I felt deeply supported and welcomed as part of their community. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to keep going. In 2021, I proudly graduated with my associate's degree and decided to continue my education. I transferred to the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW), where I earned my bachelor’s degree in 2022. Still motivated, I pushed further and completed my master’s degree in 2024—at the age of 50. It all started with the support I received at PAC. That foundation gave me the courage to dream bigger and achieve more than I ever imagined. I credit my success to the incredible experience and encouragement I found at PAC.
