Join Us for the Samantha Tapia Memorial 5k/10k Run/Walk honoring a Courageous Athlete

About Samantha Tapia:

Samantha Tapia, a resilient freshman at Palo Alto College, left a lasting impact on the campus community. She was an avid runner and won cross-country titles as a Burbank High School student-athlete. While representing the PAC cross country team in a meet against Trinity University on September 1, 1998, Samantha collapsed due to a medical condition. She passed away a few days later at Santa Rosa Hospital.

Samantha was a fearless competitor and beloved friend and teammate. We will celebrate the life of Samantha Tapia by hosting the annual Paloween Hustle. This run is dedicated to the Samantha Tapia Endowment, which provides vital support to student-athletes at Palo Alto College. Your participation directly contributes to the success of young athletes as they pursue their academic dreams.

Event Highlights:

✓ Commemorative 5k and 10k Run/Walk
✓ Scenic Route through Palo Alto College Campus
✓ Event T-shirt and Participant Medals (5k/10k)
✓ Awards for Top Finishers in Each Category

Event Details:

- Registration Fee: $40 for 5k and $50 for 10k (Includes T-shirt and Medal)
- On-site Registration: 6:30-7:45 a.m.
-Run Start Time: 8 a.m.

- Stroller-Friendly 1-Mile Walk
- Stop by the Palomino Pumpkin Patch
