Palo Alto College’s two on-campus exhibition spaces – Gallery100 and ProjectSPACE – showcase works by students and professional artists. The galleries host exhibitions four times per academic year: twice in the fall, and twice in the spring.

Ben Mata is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University and an alumnus of Palo Alto College. He has many well-known exhibits from 2009 to 2019.

James Raska is a San Antonio-based artist whose work has been featured in prominent exhibitions and is held in international collections, including the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Ralph Lopez is a San Antonio-born and raised artist whose work draws from memories, personal experiences, and close observations of life growing up while moving between relatives’ homes.

Cristina Muñiz

Cristina Muñiz is a San Antonio-based painter whose work explores her Mexican American roots, Spanish language, family, queer identity, and the connections among land, homeownership, and generational wealth.

Heritage Month programming is sponsored by Palo Alto College’s Center for Mexican American Studies, Student Life, and the Student Activities Fee.
