About Dr. Terrance Jackson

Terrance was born in Iowa. He received my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Prairie View A&M University. He continued his study of civil engineering and earned a Master’s degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio. He finished his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio. His thesis topic was Weather Impacts on Transportation Safety: Rainfall in Texas. He has worked for the United States Army, the City of San Antonio, and Bexar County. He is a registered professional engineer in Texas and Arkansas. His hobbies include spending time with family, fishing and golfing. He loves to teach and enjoys helping students excel. Terrance is currently an adjunct instructor here at St. Philip’s College in our Engineering & Mathematics Department. He teaches both engineering and mathematics courses here at our community college. His motto is Students First.
