Banned Books Week: Date Night with a Banned Book
The SPC Library is partnering with Student Success to promote Banned Books Week from September 18-24. The Library will have a display in the lobby titled, "Blind Date with a Banned Book". Students will choose a wrapped book that has been on a banned book list and, when they check it out, will get a date night goodie bag. The Library and Student Success would like to promote critical thinking in students and be aware of censorship and ensure that students have free access to information.
