    • Follett Bookstores Curbside Book Pick-up for Fall Semester: Effective August 10, 2020 – September 4, 2020 Follett Bookstores will be conducting Curbside Book Pick-up at each of the Alamo Colleges District campuses. Students are encouraged to order textbooks through the bookstore website. CLICK HERE to access service times and details on pick up procedures. Information regarding safe Rental Returns via US Mail or Curbside Book-returns in the Spring will be available at a later date.
    • CLR Breezeway Closure: The Center for Learning Resources (CLR) breezeway will be closed until further notice.

    • Laptop & Internet Hotspot Check-Out available for Students: Loaner laptop computers and internet hotspots continue to be available for check-out to assist students. There are no costs involved in checking out the item(s). Eligible students who are interested should contact SPC’s Information Technology Services at (210) 486-2777 or spc-helpdesk@alamo.edu for information on pick-up and the checkout process. A limited number of equipment is available.

    • My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) Scholarship program is a career development and employment assistance program sponsored by the Department of Defense. MyCAA helps military spouses pursue an Associate’s Degree, license or certificate. Click here to learn how you can receive up to $4,000 towards your education at SPC.
    • Physical Therapist Assistant Program Information Sessions:  Learn about careers in physical therapy, the Physical Therapist Assistant Program and how to apply to the program. The sessions will be conducted via Zoom and you must obtain the invitation and password to the Zoom meeting by e-mailing Ms. Kris Aguilar at kaguilar19@alamo.edu.  The sessions will take place on September 8, October 6, and November 17 at 5:00 p.m. 
    • Presidential Scholarship: Scholarship application deadline is on August 31, 2020. The deadline for on-line application for 2020-2021 is on September 6, 2020. For more information on scholarships available click here.
