Judith Sebesta has over 25 years of award-winning, innovative experience in higher education, including 16 years as a professor and over 10 years of leadership. She has experience as an Open & Digital Education advocate, project manager/director, policy analyst, strategic planner, instructional designer and curriculum developer. She has contributed in various roles as a dynamic communicator, facilitator, teacher, and presenter to diverse audiences. She is also a researcher, editor, and widely published author.

Description: This informative session will help faculty discover the training opportunities available throughout the academic year. Faculty will be able to share their interests regarding various issues, including faculty and students’ rights when it comes to accommodations, learning difficulties vs. learning disabilities, procedural safeguards for Title IX, and managing student conduct appropriately in and outside the classroom. We will also explore the implications of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the ADAAA for faculty, as well as effective strategies for supporting students with ADHD, behavioral disorders, and learning disabilities.
