GED Preparation

The GED preparation course, offered in both English and Spanish, is free of charge and helps students develop the skills needed to pass the GED exam and earn a Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency (TxCHSE).

The preparation course covers all four GED exam subject areas: mathematics, language arts, social studies, and science, with a strong emphasis on math and writing skills. Palo Alto College provides students with practice tests and tips on time management and study skills. Our testing center offers the official GED exams.

The program is combined with a support system designed to help students continue their education and earn a certificate or an associate degree. We offer morning and evening class times, full preparation in English or Spanish, and highly qualified instructors.
